How can I find out how long is left on my MOT?

Visit the Government website to check when your MOT expires & also when your car tax is due for renewal.

Can you provide a courtesty car?

Yes, we have a courtesy vehicle. This would need to be pre-arranged & is subject to availability. Please ask when booking your vehicle in at reception.

My car is immobile. Can you collect it?

Yes we have our own recovery truck. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

I only need a simple job, do you have a waiting room?

Yes we have a waiting room.

My car is old. Are you able to work on it still?

Yes, we will work on all vehicles & light commercial vehicle regardless of their age and condition.

Service Questions

Do I have to use a main dealer to maintain my warranty or can I come to GS Carcare?

No, you are not restricted to using a main dealer. We can service and repair any vehicle and maintain your warranty. We only fit Original Equipment or matched quality parts. We can stamp your service book or update your Digital Service Book to keep your service history up to date.

Do you stock tyres?

We don’t hold tyres in stock. We can order the tyres in for usually a same day delivery. Alternatively we are partnered with Black Circles where you can order your tyres online to be fitted here.

Can you work on Electric or Hybrid vehicles?

Yes, our technicians are qualified to carry out all servicing & repairs to all hybrid & electric vehicles.

I have an engine management light appeared on the dashboard, can you tell me what this is?

We have various diagnostic machines that we use to fault find engine management problems. Please pop in or give us a call for us to arrange for one of our technicians to look at this for you.
