Why do you need a Gearbox Oil change?
Oil is an important lubricant in every car preventing friction in suspension and drive technology. Metal components in the engine, heat up fast and come into contact with each other regularly. Without oil as a lubricant, wear would occur and lead to serious damage to the gearbox. Unwanted friction is prevented with gear oil which extends the life span of the car.
Dust and dirt enter the oil causing it to lose its quality and performance and then the gearbox oil loses its effect over time and gradual loss of oil occurs.
How do you know when your Gearbox Oil & filter needs changing?
Because there is such a variety of vehicles on the road they all have their own individual servicing schedules. If you contact us with your registration number we can check your Digital History (if applicable) to see whether it has previously been done and also your schedule to advise when your gearbox oil is due to be changed.
